The Kaiserpfalz and Casimir Castle

Today it is in the modern City Hall that the fortunes of Kaiserslautern are decided. Rising to a height of 84 metres, this is one of the emblems of the city. Beside it are the ruins of two former centres of power – the Kaiserpfalz, or Imperial Palace, and Casimir Castle.
